Personal Profile of Shab Uddin ( Vice-Chairman )

Shab Uddin is an established entrepreneur who has been involved in the catering and retail sector since the 1970’s. He set up one of London’s earliest Indian Restaurants and since has been a role model for young British Bangladeshi restaurateurs. Today, based in one of London’s busiest tourist areas, he continues to enjoy success in the catering trade.

Shab’s business acumen is not limited to the catering trade. He has great interest in realty and has previously been heavily involved in project management and development of real estate both in the UK and overseas. Shab has developed an extensive property portfolio and now wishes to embark on greater challenges.

Shab is an ambitious and influential person who works energetically towards establishing successful, profitable businesses from scratch; he will bring this ambition and vigour with him to Air Sylhet.

Aside from his business activities, Shab contributes vastly to social and educational causes. His extensive charitable work includes the initiation of a self funded, non profitable organization working towards the betterment of disadvantaged villagers in rural Bangladesh. He has heavily invested in developing countries, and believes in the regeneration and development of self sustainable industries within countries like Bangladesh.
