Personal details

In order for a booking to be processed, certain information needs to be collected from you. This information includes passenger names, addresses, telephone numbers, email address, passport details, ID card numbers and also credit/debit card payment details. There may be cases where we need information on medical conditions for passengers. This will be needed as there may be special requirements on the day for passengers.

Your data will only be used if we need to contact you with regards to flight changes or cancellations, for credit/debit card payment verification purpose, immigration control, security, legal purposes, statistical and marketing purposes and customer surveys. If you wish to not receive any marketing calls or emails, you can opt out at any time.

We follow a strict guideline for the use and storage of passenger information. You will be required to provide proof of identity before any sensitive information can be disclosed regarding flight details or any other information about you. No information will be released otherwise.

Security

We take every care to ensure that users can use this site securely and take every effort to maintain customer confidentiality. The data you provide to us is protected using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is the standard method that is used to encrypt information such as personal details and credit/debit card information so you can transfer details over the internet securely. Air Sylhet will never ask any passenger to enter their personal details such as bank details via an email or through a link in the email. You will only ever be asked to present your card details if any payment transaction is necessary i.e. during the booking or a refund stage.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to help improve our site and our service to you to ensure you get the best of our service. Cookies are small texts stored on your computer by web browsers to help track visitors to the site. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you wish to not accept cookies you can prevent your browser to do so.  The cookies that we use do not contain any personal information about you nor does it detect any information that is stored on your computer.

Marketing

Air Sylhet may contact you in cases where there are flight promotions via email. If you do not wish to be contacted you can opt out at any time of receiving such information. You will not receive any marketing material from other third party companies. We will normally send any marketing directly to you if we have your email address.

This privacy policy is only covered for AirSylhet AG and does not accept responsibility or cover the privacy policy for third party websites. All individual websites operate with their own policies regarding the use of personal information and the use of cookies. If you do have any concerns with the use of such information from third party websites, you are advised to read the terms and conditions of the site you are using. If any data is stored by third party, it is completely stored by the third party website, we do not control the information they collect and may use nor are we responsible for the products and services they provide on their website. Site tracking

Tracking software is used on our website to monitor the usage and patterns. This is used to monitor the way customers use our site to help us improve the design layout so the website can be more user-friendly. No information is stored by the use of this software.

Your rights

If you want a copy of the information we hold about you, you have the right to do so only with written consent (Please note there may be a charge for this). This also includes any corrections that may need to be made in the information we already have. We cannot disclose any sensitive information over the telephone.
